It should come as no suprise that God is disturbing the sleep of men and women across the Muslim world.

In Joel 2:28 God promised: “…I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”

One of the most common themes in the dreams that Muslims are experiencing is “a man in a white robe” – Jesus Christ.

Other dream encounters involve different scenarios such as a command to read the Bible or talk to a Christian to find the truth.

What these dreams all share in common is that they point to Jesus.

It is evident that God is at work among Muslims today preparing a massive harvest. It penetrates more deeply into their communities, than ever before.

1. One touching story from Pakistan

An American Christian couple left the country in 2002 when war occured, and after 2 years they strongly felt that God wanted them to return to their Muslim friends in the mountains.

Upon reaching Pakistan, harsh travel conditions nearly stopped them. At one point an avalanche blocked the mountain road to their destination, but they continued and reached the house of some of their friends.

When they handed a New Testament to them, one girl began to cry. She told them about her dream that she had months before – in which she saw a mountain. She heard Allah saying that the mountain was Isa.

There was written something in the mountain she couldn’t read, so she asked Allah what was written there. He said that her friends would come and explain that writing to her.

Immediately the couple began to share the Good News of Salvation.

2. Raja’s story

Taken to the madrasa(Islamic school) at age of five by his parents,Raja became an imam as a teenager. Consumed with pride, Raja felt that he knew everything.

One day a Christian woman visited his madrasa and spoke briefly to the students. Raja was instantly filled with anger at her and shouted until she left.

That night he had a disturbing dream. In the dream he was at home with his family, when suddenly the house was surronded by an angry mob. The mob was angry on him, because he drove away Christian woman from madrasa. Raja awoke, deeply disturbed by his dream.

Raja said: “Still to this day, the hatred that I showed upon Christian woman haunts me.”

He start to look more closely at the Christian woman’s beliefs. She had told the students that Isa is the only one who can guarantee salvation.

Several years later, Raja decided to become a village doctor. He received a training from a doctor who had been a Muslim, but become a follower of Jesus Christ. This doctor helped him to study the passages in the Quran that speak about Isa.

He was baptised and lead more than 300 Muslims to faith in Christ.

As a doctor, Raja gives medicine to his patients, but never fails to pray for healing in the name of Jesus. He said: “I have dedicated my life to sharing Isa with the world.”

He wrote a book for Muslims, so they could understand that Isa is the only way to Heaven.

Raja’s boldness has been shown that he is a brave man as he stands up for the Lord. One evening he attended the mosque where he once was an imam.  In is a special night in the Muslim calendar, the night that Muslims believe Allah sends out his heavenly angels to listen to people’s requests.

300 Muslim men were in the mosque, and Raja stood before them and taught them through the Qur’an that Isa is more than a prophet. Then he shared from the Bible that Isa is the Saviour.

At the end he said to them: “This is the night to find salvation in Isa. If you want to be baptised, come with me right now.”

Eight Muslims walk out of the mosque and were baptised. They experience salvation that Raja had found and one day will be part of the family in heaven. Praise the Lord.

3. Light of the Gospel in the Maldives

The Maldives claim to be 99.9 percent Muslim. After Christmas 2004 tsunami hit the Maldives and one pastor traveled there to see what could be done to help.

As he stepped into a taxi, he asked a taxi driver does he knew any Muslim who is having dreams in which ‘a prophet’ appeared.

The taxi driver look at him and said: “Yes, so many of our people are having this dream. He said this prophet had a white face and white hair, and wore a glowing white robe.”

Pastor asked if this prophet had any power. The reply astonished him, “Yes, he said, He has power to get us to Heaven.”

I will remind you of Jesus’ appearance on the Mount of Transfiguration in Matthew 17:2, and also Jesus’ appearance in Revelation 1:12-14:

“… and He was transfigured before them, His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.”

“Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven lampstands, and in the midst of them One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet… His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow…

4. Dreams in India

Another story is of an Indian lady who had a dream that prophet in a white robe appeared to her and said: “You Muslims are traveling on the wrong road. Follow me on the correct road of righteousness and light.”

5. Pakistan

In Pakistan one Muslim man was drawn to Isa through a dream where he saw a powerful being that was directing him to walk toward the Light. Later on he realised that was Jesus Christ.

6. Pastors in the Mosque

A group of pastors entered a mosque in Pakistan. One young Muslim man who was there took on himself to be their translator. During 3 hours of visit – the young man shared with them the reason why he was there.

He said: “Last night I had a dream where I saw this mosque (he had visited that mosque only once before). It was so powerful dream that I felt compelled to come.” Pastors told him that it was no accident that they were there at the same time.

He proceed to translate for them and a total of 25 Muslims including the imam, listened sharing of the Gospel. They asked them to stay and eat together. Then they left.

Two months later, the imam’s son telephoned a Muslim friend who lived in Bangladesh. He did not know that his friend had already become a Christian. He said he would be coming to his place to hear about that. All pastors prayed that God bless this meeting.

7. Story of Ali

Ali’s father sent him to the madrasa where Ali studied about the Qur’an and the Hadiths and importance of being holy.

For 12 years Ali served as an imam of his village mosque, striving to be faithful to Islam. In the back of his mind, there was a question that he had: “How can a man become truly holy?”

Eventually he met a Muslim friend who become a follower of Christ. After hearing the message that Isa was the one and only Savior, Ali went home and thought if this can be true.

That night Ali dreamed a man in a white robe who showed him a village lake and said: “Go into the water for a bath.” In the dream Ali listened and obeyed this man and went into the water.

Coming out of the water, he noticed an open cut over his heart. Suddenly, the man in the white robe touched him and the cut closed.

Ali awake in a cold sweat and rushed into the home of his believer friend. He was desperate to be baptised, knowing without a doubt that Jesus was the only true way to God.

Today, he is the pastor of a small Muslim – background church. He chooses to follow Isa and no other.

If you ever have something similar to this dreams, know that God is inviting you to come to the light of the Gospel, accept Christ as your Saviour and become a part of our family in Heaven.
